Hello, my name is Mayookhi Wickramasingha, and I am very excited to be joining Upper Mount Gravatt Kindergarten as a Teacher and Nominated Supervisor. I am currently in my 11th year working in the early childhood sector, and before this, I worked as a teacher for 10 years in Sri Lanka. I truly value the community kindergarten setting, as I am a people’s person who enjoys building strong relationships with children, families, and the wider community. My favourite play experiences to engage in with children are nature play and loose parts play, where I love supporting children’s creativity, curiosity, and learning through hands-on exploration.
